A look at the simple beauty of nature through my lens....

My interest in photography began at a very young age when my parents presented me with my first camera and entrusted me with documenting family outings and vacations.  I was fascinated with the power of capturing a moment in time to relive whenever I chose.

That camera also opened my eyes to the spectacular beauty and wonders of the natural world.   In nature, I have found a place where I can be calm and peaceful and still.   I strive to capture and preserve that beauty and convey nature’s calming effects on the soul in my photographs.

There is a special place in my heart for the WolfI’m intrigued and fascinated by these majestic creatures, and the way they interact with each other.  Their faces and eyes are so intense and expressive....and mysterious.  I feel very fortunate to have spent time in the presence of and photograph wolves in captivity.   However, my biggest thrill was to see and photograph wolves in the wild at Yellowstone National Park in 2004.  Even though it was from a quite a distance it didn't diminish the thrill of seeing these wild creatures the way they were meant to be.  Another dream came true in 2007 when I finally heard a wild wolf howl in Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario Canada.

Thank you for visiting.
